Youth Protection Training
Youth protection training is required of all leaders and the Youth Protection Awareness program should be presented to all Cubs and Scouts at least once a year. This training will help leaders prepare for these presentations. It will also help you to identify the signs of physical and sexual abuse in your boys and discusses the proper reactions and reporting procedures to be used. It discusses the importance of "Two-Deep Leadership" to protect both the boys and you. This is a delicate subject but one that must be addressed. Remember that one leader in each unit (Assistant Cubmaster or Assistant Scoutmaster) must be trainied in youth protection and must deliver the program to the boys. This training is done in conjunction with Basic Training.

  • Roundtable

Roundtable is for everyone--Cub Scout Leaders, Boy Scout Leaders, committee members, and chartering organizational representatives.
