Youth Protection Training
Youth protection training is required of all leaders and the Youth Protection Awareness program should be presented to all Cubs and Scouts at least once a year. This training will help leaders prepare for these presentations. It will also help you to identify the signs of physical and sexual abuse in your boys and discusses the proper reactions and reporting procedures to be used. It discusses the importance of "Two-Deep Leadership" to protect both the boys and you. This is a delicate subject but one that must be addressed. Remember that one leader in each unit (Assistant Cubmaster or Assistant Scoutmaster) must be trainied in youth protection and must deliver the program to the boys.
This training is done in conjunction with Basic Training.

Roundtable
Roundtable takes place every month in each District. It provides information for leaders to use in preparing their monthly and weekly meetings. Each month a different theme is spotlighted and ideas for Pack and Den meetings are provided. Games, songs, skits, ideas for advancement, everything you need, you'll find at your monthly District Roundtable.
On the scouting side, camping opportunities are discussed, skills demonstrated, and plans made. Roundtable is for everyone--Cub Scout Leaders, Boy Scout Leaders, committee members, and chartering organizational representatives. Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, and Troop committee members are invited to attend Boy Scout Leader Roundtables. Cubmasters, Assistant Cubmasters, Tiger Cub Coaches, Den Leaders, Assistant Den Leaders, Den Leader Coaches, Webelos Den Leaders, Assistant Webelos Den Leaders, and Pack Committee members are invited to attend Cub Scout Leader Roundtables.
The District Roundtable is also the best place to obtain information about district and council events, camps, and other training opportunities.
