What is a Campmaster?
Campmasters are trained volunteers that give their time to help out by operating Camp Simpson on the weekends so the Camp Ranger may assume other responsibilities, be away during emergencies, or have time to spend with his family.
Primary responsibilities of Campmasters will be to provide Camp security, check units in and out, short-term program, operations and maintenance, and to be available for emergencies.
Campmaster Volunteers receive Camp specific training for the duties required.
The Campmaster program will assist the council in the protection of our property, help diminish vandalism, lessen maintenance expenses & have someone available during peak periods in the event of an emergency.
Campmasters must be 21 years of age and registered with the Arbuckle Area Council as a Scouter.
Each weekend must have a Campmaster.
