Scouting also offers adults lots of opportunities to volunteer.

CUB SCOUTS

If you're a boy in the first through fifth grades (ages 7 to 10), then Cub Scouts is the Scouting Program for you. Cub Scouts do fun things with other kids! They get to wear a cool uniform, go places, and see things. They play all kinds of sports and build things, like race cars and bird houses.

BOY SCOUTS

Boy Scouting is available to boys who are 11 through 17 years old, or who have earned the Arrow of Light Award, or have completed the fifth grade. Boy Scouts get away from it all! They camp, hike, and fish in the great outdoors. They get together in troops, and try out new experiences.

VENTURE SCOUTS

Venturing offers a program that is fun and full of challenge and adventure for young men and women who are 14 through 20 years of age, and have completed the eighth grade. Venturing can offer opportunities to learn more about high adventure, sports, arts and hobbies.

VOLUNTEERS

If you're a parent, grandparent or adult who wants to volunteer, you might be interested in becoming a Scout leader. Arbuckle Area Council, BSA can also work with women and men to match your skills, willingness and available time (no matter how small) to an appropriate volunteer role if you would like to explore other volunteer possibilities beyond that of Scout Leader. Experience is not required. Contact the Council Office to learn how Scouting can help you make the most of the limited time you have. Learn how your school, community organization, or religious organization can benefit from starting a Scouting unit and provide wholesome, educational activities for youth in your community.
