Welcome to the Arbuckle Area Council

The Arbuckle Area Council serves over 3,100 youth and 600 adult volunteers in nine-south central Oklahoma counties (Carter, Love, Marshall, Murray, Johnston, Garvin, Coal, Atoka, and Pontotoc) along with the city of Ringling, Oklahoma.  

Camp Simpson, the Council Scout Camp serves over 2,500 youth every year at summer camp, winter camp, cub activities and weekend rentals.  Camp Simpson is 2,000 plus acres located north of Tishomingo, Oklahoma.    Office number 580-223-0831

2016 Council Banquet Set for Feb. 26th Recently Added Content

The Annual Council Banquet is set for Friday, February 26th, 2015. The event will start at 6:30 PM and will be held at the Sulphur United Methodist Church, 2022 West 14th Street.

2017 National Jamboree Information

The Arbuckle Area Council, the Cimmaron Council (Enid, OK) and the Cherokee Area Council (Bartlesville, OK) to reserve a troop at the National Jamboree in 2017. Each Council has 12 youth slots and 1 adult slot.
