Welcome to the Arbuckle Area Council

The Arbuckle Area Council serves over 3,100 youth and 600 adult volunteers in nine-south central Oklahoma counties (Carter, Love, Marshall, Murray, Johnston, Garvin, Coal, Atoka, and Pontotoc) along with the city of Ringling, Oklahoma.  

Camp Simpson, the Council Scout Camp serves over 2,500 youth every year at summer camp, winter camp, cub activities and weekend rentals.  Camp Simpson is 2,000 plus acres located north of Tishomingo, Oklahoma.    Office number 580-223-0831

2017 National Jamboree Information

The Arbuckle Area Council, the Cimmaron Council (Enid, OK) and the Cherokee Area Council (Bartlesville, OK) to reserve a troop at the National Jamboree in 2017. Each Council has 12 youth slots and 1 adult slot.

Creepy and crawly things will be out and about at this year’s Cub Scout Fall Monster Mash. Monster Mash gives families an option of two hauntingly fun sessions to pick from.

Helping You Become A Popcorn Avenger

This year’s popcorn season started off with a bang with popcorn training. This year’s popcorn sale theme is, “Helping You Become A Popcorn Avenger.”

OA Cub Scout Adventure Day at ECU

The first ever 2016 Cub Scout Adventure Day for Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos, and Arrow of Light will be offered on Saturday, October 8th from 12:30 PM– 5:30 PM at East Central University in Ada.

Training Opportunities for Leaders

Cub Scout and Boy Scout Leader training opportunities will be available during October with training to be held at Camp Simpson.
